Record-breaking Attendance Marks Success at GAWDA SMC

HOLLYWOOD, FL – The Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) is thrilled to announce yet another milestone achievement with a record-breaking attendance at its Spring Management Conference (SMC) held at the Grand Hyatt in San Antonio, TX, from Friday, April 19 to Sunday, April 21, 2024.

With an impressive turnout of 808 attendees, including 428 Suppliers and 298 Distributors, this year’s conference surpassed previous records, demonstrating the industry’s continued commitment to education and collaboration.

Themed “Lead with Purpose, Serve with Heart“, the conference featured 13 dynamic speakers covering a wide range of topics, from Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity to industry trends and the importance of leading with gratitude.

In addition to the enriching sessions, GAWDA’s Industry Partnering Committee introduced the inaugural “Best in Show” program, recognizing the best of the best in exhibiting. Among the 130 GAWDA Member booths represented, Exocor emerged as the first-place winner, followed by Equigas in second place and Uniweld in third place. These exhibitors were celebrated for their outstanding branding, customer engagement, and overall appearance.

Looking ahead, GAWDA is excited to announce that the next national meeting will take place at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, AZ, from October 11 to October 14, 2024.
