GAWDA Announces Selection of HopeKids for 2024 GAWDA Gives Back Program

HOLLYWOOD, FL – During the recent Spring Management Conference held in San Antonio, TX, Gary and Kathy Halter, in a heartfelt announcement, revealed the charity chosen for the 2024 Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) Gives Back Program.

Gary Halter expressed, “Unfortunately, not all kids get the chance to really be a kid. Life throws some crazy curveballs, and sometimes, these children end up facing some seriously tough battles. That’s where our hearts found a soft spot for a charity called HopeKids in Phoenix, AZ.”

HopeKids is a remarkable organization dedicated to providing ongoing events, activities, and a powerful support community for families with children facing life-threatening medical conditions, such as cancer. Their mission is to surround these courageous children and their families with the message that hope is a powerful medicine.

Gary Halter extended a heartfelt invitation to all GAWDA members to join him and his family in supporting HopeKids.

The GAWDA Gives Back Program, conceived by GAWDA Past President Dave Mahoney and his wife Donna, serves as a testament to the voluntary generosity of GAWDA members. It aims to honor and thank GAWDA’s Annual Convention host communities by supporting local charities and making a positive impact in the lives of others.

GAWDA extends its sincere gratitude to all members for their unwavering commitment to making a difference in the lives of those in need. Join us in giving back to this very special charity and spreading hope to children and families facing challenging circumstances.
