2020 VISION

HOLLYWOOD, FL – The Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) has scheduled its annual spring conference of distributor and supplier members for April 5-7, 2020 at the JW Marriott, Austin, TX.

GAWDA’s Spring Management Conference (SMC) is designed to target the needs of management and operations decision makers, making the SMC an ideal platform for tactical networking, process-oriented business education, and actionable take-home solutions. This year’s SMC will have a new format, with even stronger and more targeted business content, to bring added value to our members including Educational Tracks in Safety, Sales and Marketing, IT, and HR.

Several hundred GAWDA members and their guests are expected to be present. Attendees are the owners, presidents, CEOs, COOS, and sales, marketing, and operations executives at welding and gases distributor and supplier companies from across the United States and several locations in Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean, along with their guests.

We are excited to announce that Patrick Lencioni is among our keynote speakers for the conference. Pat is the founder of The Table Group and the author of 11 books which have sold over 5 million copies and been translated into more than 30 languages. The Wall Street Journal called him “one of the most in demand speakers in America.” He has addressed millions of people at conferences and events around the world over the past 15 years. Pat has written for or been featured in numerous publications including Harvard Business Review, Inc., Fortune, Fast Company, USA Today, The Wall Street Journal and BusinessWeek.

The spring conference also features a trade show for the industry. The GAWDA Contact Booth Program, which houses more than 130 GAWDA member exhibitors, showcasing the latest product developments and services that can help distributor members run their businesses more profitably and efficiently.

GAWDA also will announce the winners of its annual scholarship program. The association has awarded scholarships since the GAWDA Foundation program was established in 2013.
