GAWDA’s Scholarship Program is Open for the 2024-2025 Academic Year

HOLLYWOOD, Florida ‒ The Gases and Welding Distributors Association (GAWDA) Scholarship Program is open for the 2024-2025 academic year. “GAWDA annually awards scholarships to help educate, attract, and keep quality individuals in the welding and gases distribution industry,” said John Ospina, GAWDA Executive Director. The awards will be announced at the Association’s annual Spring Management Conference being held April 17-19 in San Antonio, TX.

With over 130 scholarships awarded since the program began in 2011, it is our pleasure to announce that the GAWDA Scholarship Program has fifteen scholarships of $2,000 each available this year.  The GAWDA Scholarship Program is available to children (18+) and employees of active GAWDA member companies. The goal of the GAWDA Scholarship Program is to promote education within the Gases and Welding Industry.

Your support is needed to keep the scholarship program alive.  For 2024, GAWDA will match member donations, up to $25,000, to support this worthwhile program. Your donation demonstrates to your employees and to fellow members your commitment to advancing education for the future of our industry.
