GAWDA Gives Back Raises $202,750

At GAWDA’s 67th Annual Convention in New York City, GAWDA President Lloyd Robinson announced that the GAWDA Gives Back Program raised a record $202,750. He presented checks totaling $101,375.00 to the Pencil Fellows Program and the FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation. FDNY Fire Family Transport Foundation representative, Chief Jim Lanza said, “I am overwhelmed. Every firefighter in the City of New York is grateful to GAWDA members for your generosity”. Michael Haberman, president the Pencil Fellows Program, accepted the check and shared what the program does.
