A special invitation to the premiere of GAWDA’s 75th Anniversary Video

Lights, Camera, Action in celebration of 75 years of the GAWDA!

HOLLYWOOD, FL — The movie premiere party of GAWDA’s 75th Anniversary Video, which is co-produced by GAWDA and 321 Blink, will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at 1:00pm Eastern.  The GAWDA Executive Committee, including President Abydee Butler Moore and Executive Director John Ospina, will kick off the celebration live from the red carpet.

The “GAWDA 75th Anniversary Video” features members, consultants and staff in attendance at the 2019 Washington DC Annual Convention.  Your favorite industry protagonist — and perhaps antagonist —  beautifully narrate their experiences with GAWDA over the years.  It is a blend of many stories with some similar themes: multi-generational family involvement, growing up in the industry and passing the baton; developing lifelong friendships, mentors and confidants; and support in keeping businesses safe and profitable.

Thank you to all members for their continued support of the association and advancing of the industrial gas and welding industry.  A special thank you to all who partnered with our team for this production. Following the premiere, “GAWDA 75th Anniversary Video” will be available for viewing for GAWDA Members.

Through its GAWDA Gives Back campaign, association members have donated almost $2 million over the last 16 years to 22 different charitable organizations in 13 communities across the U.S. Since 2013, GAWDA and its members also have provided scholarships totaling $166,000 to 83 young people interested in studies leading to careers in the industry.
