We would like to draw your attention to a phishing attempt being sent to GAWDA Members and attendees of the Spring Management Conference.
A fraudulent email message, sent from an Andrea-Rucker@spy-tradedata email address, claims to disseminate a “Gases and Welding Distributors Association 2025 – E-mail Database”. This post uses a fake signature with the non-existent title of “Events & Trade Show Specialist” and has the GAWDA logo.
Here is an excerpt from the message:
“The Gases and Welding Distributors Association 2025 – E-mail Database is available now”
There have also been reports of a Text message with similar information being sent to member’s phones.
